Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 17 September 2026
Palkarly (operated by Palkarly) is a matrimonial platform intended solely for adults seeking marriage within the Sourashtra community. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page describes the standards and practices we follow to keep children safe, in line with Google Play’s child safety standards policy and applicable law.
1. Adults only — no minors permitted
- Palkarly is restricted to individuals who are of legal marriageable age under Indian law and at least 18 years old. The service is not directed to, and is not intended for, anyone under 18.
- Every profile is manually reviewed and approved by our team before it becomes visible in discovery. We do not knowingly allow minors to create profiles, and we remove any account we discover to belong to a minor.
- Date of birth is collected at registration, and profiles indicating an age under 18 are rejected.
2. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
- We strictly prohibit any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits, endangers, or abuses children, including CSAM, grooming, solicitation, or trafficking.
- Any account found engaging in such behaviour is immediately and permanently banned, its content removed, and the matter escalated to the appropriate authorities.
3. Reporting child safety concerns
Users can report concerns to us at any time:
- In the app: use the Report option available on any profile or chat, or the report/feedback options in Settings, to flag content or behaviour that may harm a child.
- By email: contact our child-safety point of contact at palkarly2026@gmail.com with the subject “Child safety”.
4. How we respond
- We review reports of child safety concerns promptly and prioritise them.
- We remove violating content and permanently ban the accounts responsible.
- We report apparent child sexual abuse material and related offences to the relevant regional and national authorities (including, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Indian law-enforcement / cyber-crime authorities), and we preserve evidence as required by law.
5. Compliance
Palkarly complies with applicable child safety laws and reporting obligations. We keep these standards under review and update them as our service and the applicable requirements evolve.
6. Contact
Our designated point of contact for child safety matters is palkarly2026@gmail.com. Palkarly is operated from Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, India.
